Photography and Text by:
Anna & Jordan Rathkopf
"HER2" offers a deeply personal exploration of our family’s experience following Anna’s breast cancer diagnosis at age 37. Through Anna’s evocative photography and reflections, we reveal the emotional landscape of rebuilding confidence and reshaping identity from diagnosis to “survivorship.” Jordan’s lens delves into the complexities of caregiving, portraying the often unseen pressures of being a constant pillar of support.
Together, we also reflect on our son, whose life has been profoundly shaped by this journey.
Recognized with the 2024 Photographic Achievement and Social Impact Award by the United Nations.

Exhibition at the 2024
The Chick Mission’s Annual Gala returns on Thursday, October 24 for an inspiring celebration of our mission in support of women battling cancer and brighter fertility futures.
Our biggest party of the year gathers supporters, survivors, medical professionals, industry leaders, and advocates for one hell of a night. Dollars raised fuel our vital efforts in changing the women’s healthcare and cancer care status quo. As a part of this year’s event, HER2 will have an exhibition in the space for the event recognizing Kate Ryder, Founder & CEO of Maven Clinic with the annual Chick On A Mission award.
